Vice President of Business Development, Aircraft Acquisitions

Camarillo, CA (September 2018) – Air 7 (www.flyair7.com) announces Ron Gottschalk as Vice President of Business Development, Aircraft Acquisitions. Gottschalk’s primary responsibilities will include the oversight and development of the company’s Part 135 charter fleet and Part 91 management aircraft in addition to client development and client retention.

Ron brings over 38 years of aviation industry experience to Air 7 in charter fleet development, aircraft management, customer development, client retention and aircraft sales with several recognizable aviation organizations.

Mr. Gottschalk is a graduate of the Spartan School of Aeronautics, Tulsa, Oklahoma - MEI - A.T.P, and currently holds several different Type Ratings. Ron will be based in Wichita, KS while working directly with the Air 7 Headquarters Executive Team located in Camarillo, CA.

 “I truly love aviation and I strongly believe in the power of consistent face to face interactions with clients”, states Gottschalk. “An aircraft owner is seeking an organization that can provide the least amount of resistance for aircraft oversight.  Camarillo, CA (September 2018) – Air 7 (www.flyair7.com) announces the appointment of  Ben Nematzadeh as Director, Client Services and Employee Development. Nematzadeh’s responsibilities include the support, growth and continuing development of Air 7’s FBO, Part 135 and Part 91 clientele and partner relationships.

Mr. Nematzadeh, a Cal State University of Northridge Cum-Laude Honors graduate in Business Management, brings over 6 years of 14 CFR FAR Part 91 and Part 135 aviation dispatch and flight coordination expertise.

 His experience includes point-of-contact charter scheduling, operational safety management (SMS) auditing, vendor contract services negotiations and flight standards coordination with recognized aviation organizations. He recently served both as scheduler and Assistant Safety Manager for Air 7’s in-house Dispatch Department.

Air 7 Welcomes Greg Paxson - DOM

Greg Paxson has recently joined the Air 7 family as Director of Maintenance (DOM) effective October 20, 2017. 

Greg brings a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge to Air 7 as the Director of Maintenance having held the DOM position and other Maintenance Executive roles with 14 CFR Part 135 Organizations in addition to owning and running a 14 CFR Part 145 FAA Maintenance Repair Station.

Greg is extremely respected and recognized in the Aviation Maintenance industry and has appeared on the Cover of DOM Magazine.  Air 7 is very fortunate to have Greg on our Team based in the Camarillo Offices and we look to Greg for leadership and guidance as we grow and develop Air 7.
