Adopted on July 4, 1776, by the Continental Congress, who met in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, The Declaration of Independence was officially signed and set the inevitable course towards the personal freedoms and liberty enjoyed today, 249 years later, by all Americans.
As we come together with family, friends, neighbors, and new acquaintances this holiday weekend, please take a moment to reflect of why we are celebrating with parades, fireworks, and barbecues, and thank all those Patriots and fellow Americans who went before us and who had the vision of liberty and personal freedoms and committed their all to ensuring the dream came true!
